The Center for Rehabilitative Medicine
The Center for Rehabilitative Medicine is an 18-bed unit that provides comprehensive rehab services for patients who have suffered strokes, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular diseases, arthritis, amputations, orthopedic conditions and diseases that require ongoing, intensive and coordinated rehabilitation.
The Center For Rehabilitative Medicine is dedicated to helping patients get past the hurdles and back to their lives — to work, family, active retirement and/or independent living.

A full-time physiatrist, a specialist in physical rehabilitation, directs all care. Additional members of every patient’s treatment team include social workers, case managers or discharge planners, recreational therapists, psychologists and dietitians.
The Center For Rehabilitative Medicine is a place where patients who have suffered illness, injury or disability can rediscover independence and a productive life. Our rehabilitation specialists work closely with patients to help them regain all that they can to resume functional daily living. We provide ongoing, intensive and coordinated rehabilitation using a team approach. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy, psychological, social work, rehabilitation nursing, case management, physiatrist and physician consultation are among the services available.
